Hi, my name is Corey Bullock and I’m a project manager with New England Ductless. What I’d like to speak to you about today is the reason why people are moving over to heat pumps to heat their home. The main reason right now is, as I’m sure you’ve noticed, the cost of the traditional fossil fuel sources has increased dramatically with no signs of slowing down. Oil, propane, and natural gas are all at historic highs right now with finite supplies, meaning that these prices are only going to go up in the future.

Heat pumps are a much cleaner, much more efficient solution, mostly because of the fact that they’re inverted driven. They’re able to modulate their effort and the electricity that they demand based on the desired temperature. These use as little as possible to make your home as comfortable as possible as efficiently as possible.

Also, another reason a lot of people are switching over to heat pumps is the greener aspect. Burning fossil fuels, such as oil and propane especially, is extremely damaging to the environment. Creating a lot of greenhouse gasses, creating dirty air in general that you’re breathing in. Where the heat pump is a much cleaner source it doesn’t burn anything, it just moves heat around a little bit and what that does is create an efficient, cleaner and greener environment for your home.
